Why We Do What We Do
I started Happy Paws because I watched too many dogs come into grooming shops scared. A nervous dog being forced through a bath, trembling during nail trims, leaving more anxious than when they arrived—that broke something in me. I kept thinking: there has to be a better way.
I realized the problem wasn't the grooming itself. It was the approach. Most shops run on a schedule. Get them in, get them done, move to the next dog. But dogs aren't widgets. An anxious dog needs patience. A first-time puppy needs gentleness. A large dog needs a groomer who's confident handling their weight and strength.
